bachmann spectrum 2 truck shay

I have an issue with my shay, I can hear the motor run but the shay won't run. My husband said it might be a gear problem. Upon further investigation we found a broken gear in the front truck. Can you fix this for me and at what cost or do I need to send it to Bachmann to be repaired? Also do you know where I can get a manual for it? Thank you in advance for your help.

Depends on which version of trucks you have.  The original ones were plastic and failed.  They came up with replacement die cast replacement one which are $225.   Try googling bachmann shay replacement trucks g scale.
