New to the hobby. How do I get to gears and what do I oil and lube on this model?
Do I pop off the wheel cover on the truck?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Len

Correct. As you can see in the exploded diagram:

Use a small flat screwdriver to gently pry the ends of the truck cover off the tabs it hooks onto.

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

Thanks Len. Just finished lube and oil job for first time.

Use a grease intended for plastic gears.  Oil by itself isn't enough.

Big Blue

Yes I followed Bachman video and used labelle light oil and atlas grease
