Minimum radius for 2-8-8-4 EM1-B&O

What is the minimum radius for this great engine?  It runs very well and I am planning a layout with a Y turn around and want to make sure it will negotiate the curves properly.  Is there an ideal radius?

As always in this type of discussion, the bigger the better, but our minimum is 11.25".

I was able to run mine on curves as sharp as 9.75" radius without any difficulties.
