I'm in the process of building my first layout - HO using EZ track.  I've included several remote turnouts and have them wired to an extra power supply and all are working.  My problem is that some of the green wires coming from the turnout to the control aren't long enough.  Do I need to splice each of the three wires to extend them, or is there a simpler solution?

Dear CG,
We make turnout extension wires, Item No. 44598.
These will be what the doctor ordered.
Have fun!

No offense Mr. but at $8 to $12 is lot to pay for 10 feet of wire. I would probably just splice the wire or sometimes you can find the green wire without the card on ebay for much less.

Yeah Joe,
And you can also build your locomotives out of toothpicks with a rubber band drive.

All I am saying is that the convenience of the green wire comes at a price.

telephone wire works just fine...ez to splice with the standard phone line splices.

Thanks all.  I decided to try the splice route.... and was successful!  Much less expensive than buying the part.
