Hey Bill, I have a 440 SPC which I dont see in the list. Would it have been in the 2001 or 2006 batch?

Loco Bill Canelos

Mickey,

Looks like I screwed  :-[ up big time on the 4-4-0's and missed the SPC version and others.  It was strictly my cut and paste errors when building  :'( the list.

My Database shows your SPC as being introduced in  the 2000 catalog, it stayed in catalog til 2002.

81397    SPC    3   2000   ~ Loco   4-4-0, South Pacific Coast  original MSRP was $799.00

The only 4-4-0 in the 2006 catalog was the Eureka  & Palisade.

Here is my full list,  hopefully I got them this time:

81391   None   None   2007   ~ Loco   4-4-0, painted unlettered Lake (blue)& Russia Iron      1         $850.00
81392   None   None   2007   ~ Loco   4-4-0, painted unlettered Olive & Russia Iron      1         $850.00
81393   None   None   2007   ~ Loco   4-4-0,  Resort at Squaw Creek, Lake Tahoe Ca             Limited Edition       Limited edition for the resort
81394   None   None   2001   ~ Loco   4-4-0, painted unlettered black Straight Stack   P   1      Spectrum   $799.00    Dia stack in 2007
81395   B&L   6   2001   ~ Loco   4-4-0, Baltimore & Lehigh Straight stack   P   1      Spectrum   $799.00
81396   E&P   4   2001   ~ Loco   4-4-0, Eureka & Palisade "Eureka"   P   1      Spectrum   $799.00    wood burner
81397   SPC   3   2000   ~ Loco   4-4-0, South Pacific Coast   P   1          $799.00
81398    D&RG   87   2000   ~ Loco   4-4-0, Denver & Rio Grande       1      "Rito Alto"   $799.00    Diamond Stack
81399  None   None   2000   ~ Loco   4-4-0, painted, unlettered Russia Iron   P   1         $799.00

Disregard the "P" and the "1" they are just triggers I use for certain sorts.
I need to review my entire database info for the 4-4-0's and double check all the catalog dates, but since my move to Colorado last year in late November, it is low on my priority list.

Corrections, additions and questions are always welcome.

Hard to imagine that old. Or I guess I'm getting old. Thanks.

THANK YOU Loco Bill- I finally have the stock number for my Spectrum 2-6-0 Mogul. It's 81492.  Why did Spectrum stop making this great loco so soon??  It runs great and the detail is very good.  Did they stop because of the wide radius curves it needs?

Loco Bill Canelos

GF Greg,

It was in the catalog from 2001 to 2005.   They usually hold back if the sales of an item are not strong, but that is only a guess on my part.

Many with tighter radius curves just removed the pins on the center axle to get it to track better.

Hi All,

I really did a crappy job :-[ on the above list of Spectrum items.  I just saw some of the 2-6-0's were also missing :(.

I updated the post with the list to include the missing 2-6-0's and the 4-4-0's.   If you saved the list in the past be sure to update your list with the current list.

I wonder what else I missed???   I really need to go back over the entire thing, but have no time right now.

If you see any more missing items, either post here or email me please.  Thanks

Old tired and weary,
