EZ Comand

Am wondering if there is a way to change cv's. Have the EZ Command control system. Hope there is a way t do this as i have a couple of switchers that need to be tuned up so they have better slow speed.

The E-Z Command Control Center programming capability is limited to
  - Assigning addresses 1 through 9. ^**
  - Setting the direction of travel.
No other CVs can be programmed.

Thus the E-Z Command Control Center can not program any of the CVs by their number. You will need access to a DCC system capable of programming CVs to change the CV factory setting when required.


^** Address 10 is used to run an analog (non-decoder equipped) locomotive.
However, when a Bachmann DC Power Pack, item no. 44212, is properly connected to the E-Z Command Control Center address 10 automatically becomes a DCC address. This is covered in the E-Z Command, Setup and Programming Instructions.

E-Z Command Control system sends only 28 speed step commands to the decoder in the locomotive.  This is an issue only if you do switching or other operations and smoother slow speed control provided by using 128 speed steps is desirable.
