Railtruck question

Friends,
Did Bachmann fix the long screw problem with the transmission on later production runs of the railtruck? If so, how do you tell from the box if it is new production run or old?

They did do the change.  I was looking at mine and cannot personally tell the difference, maybe some one else has an idea on this
