I'm planning on starting a layout of Ffarquhar Station from the Railway Series soon, but I need some help. I need some good reference shots of Ffarquhar, but I can't seem to find any.

Here's my layout as of the night of March 17th, 2012.

(and btw, I hope everyone had a Happy St. Patrick's day and wore green ;) )
Bachmann never ceases to amaze me :)

That looks really nice Dino. But I would be concerned about that track being so close to the edge. You're risking a fall to the floor.

Thank you RW James, and I am aware of a potential fall (especially since I have a cat). But concerning tracks falling off, I at least plan to nail them to a roadbed, and just be careful when I run trains.

Well, the thing is, I don't understand why the track is that wide there. If you cut that straight bit of set track shorter you could reduce the width and give yourself some breathing room.

By wide, are you referring to what you see at the picture's right? It's wide like that so I can put in Knapford Station. The spacing is also somewhat wide across one set of rails to the other so I could put in Tidmouth Sheds.

Yeah, that's it. I would honestly be concerned running that close to the edge. I've seen derailments on the best laid track that would land perfectly good trains on the floor.

Ouch! Then I'd better reconsider where I put things...

You may suggest it :P Lol, yea, that is a good idea. Do you mean for the trains, or for the town?

    Thanks!

Agreeable. I was kinda going for a more American look this time around. You don't mind, right? I think it'll make the stories that much more interesting ;)
