I have purchased a 2-6-6-2 articulate steamer (Pocahontas #40) Item 28704 DCC w\sound. my question is along in the box came quite an assortment of accessories, which I like very much (I like toys and gadgets). Anyhow I have found an electronic chip in a bag and was wondering what it did and how to hook it up? I looked through all the manuals and the CD but no mention of this chip. I opened the tender and there appears to be a connecting point on the decoder but it just don't fit. Can anyone assist me with this info please?

I think that might be jumper for DC operation.

Correction....jumper might be for operating without sound decoder.  Here's a link where you can get User's and Tech Manuals
