EZ Track Wiring - Adding extra power drops

I'm trying to stick with Bachmann EZ Track wiring and power supplies. How do I add extra power drops, given the connectors that EZ Track uses, and using the standard Bachmann power supply?

Cut off the end with the metal connector so you can connect it to your original connector then purchase more terminal track and connect the other end to the terminals.
