I'm currently trying to install one of these using a Bachmann Speed Controller 44212 but it's proving problematical.

The Bridge does not always want to move and there is no motor noise, winding the power up to almost maximum usually gets it to work.

When the Bridge does move it often takes 2 or 3 presses of Turntable Direction switch for the Bridge to reach the next track.

My questions are:
Useing Speed Controller 44212 (DC)

1. - What should the power setting be on the Speed Controller for smooth operation? I often have to set it at 90% to get things to move and am worried this will damage the Turntable?
2. - Is holding the Turntable Direction Switch to one side or the other the correct way to operate it or is it likely to damage the Turntable? Just pressing and releasing it, has to be repeated several times for it to work.
3. - Should the positioning of the Direction Slide on the Speed Controller have any effect on how the Turntable operates?

Thanks in anticipation
