Looking for passenger cars that will work with Bachmann DCC HO

Does anyone know what kind of passenger cars are compatible with the DCC HO Bachmann Spectrum New York Central 4-6-0
#1233  I tried to use an ordinary set of HO Bachmann passenger cars and it won't work.  Could some one lead me to the info.  I have looked up passenger cars that are DCC HO but I am unsure if they will match the Loco I have

In what way won't they work?
Rolling stock, regardless of make, could care less if you are running DC or DCC.
The only concern I can think of is if the cars are lighted.

Do you mean the couplers do not match? If so then either the engine or car coupler will need to be changed.
