N Scale F7A&B Spectrum

Are the F7A&B N Scale Spectrum locos DCC ready or friendly? IE easy to convert to DCC. Thanks.  Joe

In a word.....NO.

They require substancial frame modifications to make room for the decoder then changes to the motor connection system and you need to drill and tap holes for two screws to be able to get frame pickup to the decoder.
