EMD GP40

Can anyone with an EMD GP40 checked to see where the traction rings are located?  ie. which wheels have the traction rings.

I have a GP50 and both rings are on the last wheels of the back trucks.
I really need to figure out which so that I can put the rings back.

look for a gruve in the wheel sets
b/c they wont fit on the other non grove wheels
