I used code 80 for my OO9 layout.  I recommend picking up this starter track set from Peco for starting your own narrow gauge layout, it's what I used and I was really happy with the result.

thank you very much!

I ordered a case of (25) 3 ft code 80 peco track on ebay for 100. going to make a smaller lay out now but will maybe try my hand at dioramas or other layouts in the future. now to plan the layout!

Happy to! Please feel free to post pictures of progress in the narrow gauge modeling thread! Any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

I had the same question! Now that I added Talyllyn to my Skarloey engines, running them on N Scale track is bothering me!
That same Peco starter set is available on Trainworld here in the States too. I was worried if the radius might be too tight, but I assume all the Bachmann Skarloey engines work fine on your layout.
SNER = Stephen's North Eastern Railway - a parody of LNER.

I kind of wish I used set track or starter set but tonight/tomorrow ill be assembling the flex track so wish me luck.
@coltonshobbies on YouTube I'm gonna document my progress.

They do, I'll be posting updated pictures in the narrow gauge modeling thread shortly once I get my Talyllyn/Skarloey review done.  All the OO9 models I've purchased, including customs have ran on the code 80 track with no issue. :)
