Is it possible to use Ho EZ Track with the Walters Double Track Truss Bridges?

Terry Toenges

If you cut the connectors off the E-Z Track and but them up against the bridge ends It looks like it might work. I don't know how far apart the tracks are on the bridge by looking at  picture. Two E-Z  pieces might fit on the bridge if that's what you are wanting. I might be wrong.
15 x 5 x 4-1/4". If total width is 5", I don't know what the inside width would be. E-Z is 1 15/16" wide. That gives you
3 7/8" width for two pieces right next to each other. If the side are 1/2" on each side, that only gives you 1/8" left on the inside. The sides might be smaller.
Feel like a Mogul.

The 5" width is inside of one truss piece to the inside of the opposite truss piece. There are triangular gusset plates between the trusses and deck that make the usable deck space a bit less than 5". The deck is designed for 2" center-to-center track spacing, but could probably be stretched to 3" spacing if you don't care about being aligned with the tie support girders.

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

You might want to put a short section of non-EZ track, like snap track, beteeen the bridge and the layout track.  That way you don't have to be making the transition on the bridge itself with attendant issues.

You could get two sets of these for the bridge: https://www.shop.cvmw.com/72ftLongBridgeTies-2-1903-2.htm

Then glue/spike code 100 rail, to match the EZ-Track, pulled from a section of flex track to the ties.

Get bridge track from Walthers, or I believe Micro engineering makes code 88 flexible bridge track in 3 ft. lengths and use adapter connectors to the code 100 easy track. The track has the proper  ties and spacing and is a great looking track also for deck girder bridges.
