Were can I get traction tires for the rc big hauler ( plastic wheels)

The wheels are 2" diameter, and the traction tires were of a rather square cross section. You may have good luck with a 1 3/4" O-ring. They'll be a round cross section, but square cross section rubber bands are a rarity.

You might try "X" rings or "D" rings; the "X" rings are plenty common in the diving equipment industry because they offer a more reliable sealing surface than the traditional "O" ring.  You can check them out at a supplier like I've linked here, and there's a good chance they'll just sample some of them to you for free.
