Hello, I bought a loco "Spectrum N Scale Train 4-8-4 J Class DCC Ready Spectrum 82153" I want to digitize. Can you tell me what decoder I use? (Ref bachmann or spectrum please) Thank you very much. Excuse my English, I'm from Belgium and I appreciate the U.S. equipment. Good day to you

Any small solder in decoder (Digitrax DZ125, TCS M1 Etc.).
The loco also has provisions for sound and any small sound decoder will work (Digitrax SDN144, Soundtrax Micro Tsunami, Loksound Micro).

If you want sound , I have used ESU LOK Sound Micro v 4.0 and a Soundtraxx 1/2" speaker. Good motor control and sound.
