A Suggestion

  As a suggestion for a three truck SHAY, the last 2½ footer built 08-30-1929.
SN 3341, Class 60-3, for Braden Copper Co (Chile) as #20.
  Braden operated 10-two truck & 6-three truck SHAY's.

  Downside is, I would need to build a string of Braden 20ft ore gondolas<G>.

The 3 truck Braden locos were the largest 30 inch gauge Shays made, of course there were similar sized locos in 3 foot and other gauges. It would be a good choice.

Personally I would have little use for the 4-6-0 that introduced this thread.

The Canadian Collieries Rwy needs three of the ten wheelers to go with the consolidations.  The new 4-4-0 looks nice but doesn't fit with our operations.  I really like the snowplow on the 4-6-0.  In fact it looks so good we may have to move our coal mines from Vancouver Island to places further north.

  Moving farther North, mean's you would be looking at the Coal field around Smither's,  the mine supplied the pulp mill at Watson Island (Port Edward). Worked in the Pulp  Mill 67 to 70, by that time coal
was no longer used and the mine's had shutdown.
   Orginal boilers (1952) had been converted to oil firing when I
started there in 1967, coal bunkers were still in place though!.

That one I would have bought, I'm going to take a pass on the 4-4-0. 'Course I'm still waiting for the heisler and the larger more modern Shay. I currently have the 2-6-0, 2-8-0, and climax, as well as the MMI K-27, K-28 engines. Please make the heisler the same size as the climax!
