bachmann #44547reversing track

Hello to all, Just curious. Will any trolley or engine work on this model reversing track or does it have to be one that is dcc and not just dc. This is a set of track, not the set with the trolley and barn. Thanks and happy railroading

Any dc item of motive power should work. The set appears to be dc, including what looks like the Bachmann dc speed controller.  I assume that the set has the electronics of the trolley sets built into the speed controller casing instead of a car barn, but is otherwise the same. The trolley sets are dc, not dcc, and operate with any dc motive power, not just the supplied trolley.

The Bach Man can correct me if I am wrong!

Thanks so much for responding Hamish. I think I'll give it a try because the style of the barn doesn't go with the rest of my village buildings. This way I'll have the  track only. Thanks again.
