We will be changing from factory installed battery powered lights do we need to change bulbs?
Not sure if the original bulbs will live with track power.
Thanking you in advance for your help .

Hi Unk,

The bulbs in the passenger cars are 16 volts.  Many power packs will produce more than that.  Check your power supply to be sure.  You may want to add a resistor to protect the bulbs if you will be running at higher voltages.

Bill,
Thank you for the info.
Will install a resistor to eliminate dismantling and replacing bulbs down the road.
Thank you again.
