According to the 2024 printed Catalog, there is a 4-6-0 train set with DCC sound value, the Whistle-Stop Special, but it is Union Pacific. There is also the Broadway Limited train set (Pennsylvania RR) without DCC. There is the Trailblazer set as well, but it's for C&O.
As for engines by themselves, the 19th century 4-6-0 does have DCC sound value, but is only available in Central Pacific, Union Pacific, Baltimore & Ohio, and Pennsylvania RRs. Unfortunately, none of these options are available on the website.

Do Bachmann have a loco casey jones 382 n scale with DCC plus sound

Hi! I am making an oval on top of an oval of ez track. I have an dcc command center, and wondering if I connect the command to one terminal rerailer, and then connect that rerailer to another rerailer, will it control locomotives on each layer using dcc and remember the addresses?

I've installed a Blunami 2200 on the Large Scale 4-6-0 PNP with Battery power.

In the app, set Lamp type to Incandescent.

Connect the Blunami wires to the corresponding J1 pins as follows:
J1-1&2 to black, 3 gray, 4 white, 5 not used* , 6 blue,  8 green (smoke), 9 yellow, 10 orange, 11&12 red.
ALSO connect (jumper) the black wire of Blunami to  J1-7.
This accomplishes what the 4-6-0 instructions mean by connecting the decoder negative output to J1-7.
I also connected J2-10 (firebox flicker) to the white wire (jumper to J1-6), so the firebox goes on with the front headlight;
presumably you could use a separate function for this if you wish.

For sound, connect the thin purple wires (from the other end of the decoder) to J2-1 and J2-3.
*The Blunani doesn't use the chuff trigger, but electronically senses the motor revs. In the app, you can sync the chuff rate to the motor speed with CV-114. I found the value 25 works for my loco, giving 4 chuffs per rev.
So far, I haven't used the other function outputs.

BTW, the Blunami 2200 (2 amp board) powers the 4-6-0 pulling 5 Bachmann "Big Hauler" cars on a level track, 8' dia. curves, with all lights on and sound at full volume. I'm using a 9.6v battery.

L+ and L- should match up to Pins 7 and 6 on the NMRA 8 pin plug on the circuit board.  But I always double check with an ohmmeter.  Just out of curiosity way are you not just using the NMRA 8 pin plug? (I have not installed a decoder into 4-6-0 yet.)

All of our model trains are made with either plastic injection moulding or with die casting. 3D printing is great for small batches or parts, but not well suited to mass production of a full ready-to-run train.

I have no idea what's taking over 2 1/2 years just for them to have an unpainted sample of Sir Handel, but they already got Stanley in the unpainted stage in less than a year since he was announced. Maybe he was much easier to make.

If any new Narrow Gauge products get announced, they'd have to be made from existing toolings, like Narrow Gauge Brown and Gray Brake Vans and Box Vans. Bachmann can easily make those since the tooling for that already exists. Nothing is holding them back for those.

It's not likely that N Scale Edward or Henry will get announced this NMRA, considering we haven't heard any updates on N Scale Diesel yet, but they're much more likely to get announced for the 2025 catalog. If any N Scale rolling stock gets announced, they could be Red Express Coaches, or the regular Red Coaches, along with non-troublesome open wagons in blue, red, and green with a coal load. Let's not forget some generic 20-Ton Brake Vans in dark gray, light gray, or brown. Any of these could be possible. A Christmas N Scale Thomas set is also possible.

HO Scale is anyone's guess for what comes next. A repaint like Sidney (but with an altered eye mechanism), along with new toolings like Nia or Whiff. Doug Blaine still hasn't acknowledged whether or not Harvey or Diesel 10 are possible because of their attachments. The latter three mentioned characters are the only ones left who appeared in both model and CGI. If Rebecca sells well, Hiro can be considered. As for rolling stock, the best new tooling would be the Works Unit Coach; in green, orange and blue. The Chocolate Syrup and Toffee Tankers are still exclusive to Large Scale. Some good choices for repaints include the Italian Blue Coaches, Gordon's Special Coaches, and Troublesome Truck #7 being made from a 12-Ton Van.

Does Bachmann use 3D printing for the models of theirs?

I have a Bachmann Texas & Pacific 4-6-0 HO scale locomotive.  I'm in the process of adding a sound decoder.  I'm looking for the wires for the headlight (white and blue).  the wires in the tender are all black.   Would the terminals labeled L+ and L- be for the blue and white wires respectively?   I'm assuming M+ and M- is for the motor.
