With the price of SS and Brass, what do you think of powered aluminum tracks?   Is there a brand that is better then others?

What is Fast Clock?  I can't find an explaination that gets to the core.
And what is it used for exactlly?

I was watching a movie that had a steam engine from the 1940's.
The road name on the engine was "Pacific Northwest".  Is this a legitimate
road name or fictitious for the movie?  Where can I find out more about this road name, and possibly get hold of some decals for my untitled steam engine.

I had a similar question earlier this month, regarding my G Scale engine.
Bac-man answered and said, " Any engine can be converted to DCC, you just have to isolate the motor, and connect the appropriate DCC decoder."
