this is true. its your railroad, so do what you want. the only thing i would keep in mind is the different couplers though.

Uhh, i think ur thinking of the williams maybe? or even an aristo craft/mth c-415 (which ive never even heard of)

i made sure of that befor i put it back together
because it would short it out.  and the wire that goes between the engine and the tender is for the headlight. and theres only one wire on the pony truck

yeah, sadly it only works fine in forward, still the same in reverse.
but i noticed the headlamp doesn't work sence i got it back together

if on the parts and service Tab, the parts for the f40ph are listed as older model, does that mean they're going to come out with a newer model?
