Absolutely!  Much more variety is needed in the On30 line. I'm for more rolling stock lettered for WP&Y and EBT.  Also I would like to see a WP&Y diesel locomotive.  Thank goodness for the billboard reefers or there'd be so little variety it would simply be BORING!

On30 / Re: On30 combine with cupola

Thanks Tom.  That's pretty close!  My poor vision and less than nimble fingers would prevent me from applying such modifications to one of my combines.  Anyone interested in doing one for me can contact me at [email protected] to discuss pricing, etc.  Thank you. Rick.

On30 / On30 combine with cupola

I have an extensive colection of Bachmann On30 & HO scale trains. I recently saw an interesting HO scale combine car that also had a cupola toward one end of the car & an open work deck at the other end.  I would truly like to see Bachmann make this in On30 scale.  I think it would be great for branch line operations.  Thank You. On30 / Cigar Reefers
November 14, 2008, 12:05:14 AM
I have the whole set of On30 Billborad Reefers for beers, ales & breweries.
Has there been any action toward making On30 Billbord reefers for cigars
(Dutch Masters, Muriel, Conestoga Stogies, etc.)?  Thank You.

On30 / Re: Opening Doors in a Reefer Car?

If you mean the roof hatches ... yes, I have.  They look quite nice open!
Just angle the latch pin up & out of the way by tilting it back a little, lift the hatch (side that's toward the end of the car) with your finger nail (some are a little snug) and then bring the latch pin back down to act as a prop to hold the hatch open.  Bachmann has a few photos of the open hatches in their gallery  and I think I have one on my web sites.  Good Luck!
