I've just purchased a Bachmann GP35 with DCC on board, and was wondering what decoder I needed to add sound to it.

I run a Digitrax Zephyr system.

I was just wondering if there is any way I can make my locos run quieter.  I have a few F9 units that sound like blenders when they run. Does anybody have any practical suggestions?
Please don't say buy new ones.  Thanks.

Please help, my model trains are louder than the real ones! Is there anything I can do to quieten down my Bachmann locos?

I have Woodland Scenecis  roadbed on 1/2 plywood.  This roadbed is a composite that is supposed to absorb the sound.
