I have bought a couple sets from "thefavorite spot" on ebay they all arrived in great shape. the ones i got from them was still in the outer box from bachmann.
I also bought a emmet kelly set on ebay no outside damage showed on box at all also in original Bachmann outer box. once i opened it up the weight in the engine had sheared off and it destroyed the engine and tender in transit So it  is as far as i can see just the luck of the draw on how the package is handled in transit.

 E-bay is well E-Bay. I have seen items go for WAY over prices you could buy just by typing in the item you are looking at in google. People still think E-bay is a online cheap garage sale it isnt any more.You have to do research and price shop for just about anything you want to buy at the site I shake my head at the prices some people are paying there and wonder how mad they get if and when they figure out how much they could haave bought it for .

 I have bought just about all my new items from them with never a problem. great prices also.

 I decided to go all brass for track. My question is how much is used/new Bachmann track worth? I have about 100 pieces of track divided about fifty fifty between straight and curved. thanks for any help. Kim

   Questions about the  Spectrum 0-4-0  model #  BAC 82098. Is this a good model of the 0-4-0? any issues with it? Also is $80.00  a good price for a new one? Or any other info on it would be great thanks in advance.

  Does any one know a good trestle set to buy for a around the tree/living room set up I want to build, premade? I was looking at the Aristo-Craft  G  scale Over & Under Trestle Set, or the 12 piece Trestle Set .
  Looking to raise the train some as it goes by the fire place and through a Aristo-Craft   covered bridge.

 Yes it was on E-bay and ended up going for for $80.50  Too rich for my blood on a unknown producct for me.

 Has any one heard of this company or item? HUGHES 8600 DELUXE TRESTLE SET- G SCALE ,hughes modelrailroad  .

  Hi I am Kim I model in G scale. Live in Bremerton WA.
I am planning a garden layout to be begun this spring it will be mostly a whimsical layout with Disney themed area. Also will have A elevated line running around the living room and into dinning room and back round.

 Has anyone gone to this show before? and if so is it worth the time /money? do they tend to have a lot of items for sale and at fairly ok prices?

Funny thing is that is not the first heat warped train like that i have seen on e-bay.

 Fast question is this power pack good for G scale? Is it any better than the ones that come with the bachmann sets?

 Can these two tracks be used together?  If so any modifications needed? Is the lionel track any good and can it be used outdoors? the brass track with brown ties? Thanks for any info

 They are track powered also so depending on the current  is how bright they are and if throttle off no lights at all.
