Yardmaster & Bachmann,

Would you consider doing a K27 with inboard cylinders?? This would not be as costly as a complete loco, yet it would give you a new product to bring to market with 10 to 15% mold cost assuming you can use the original molds from the K27 I would be interested in at least one with inboard cylinders to go with #455 RGS.

If you cant get a gear from Bachmann, the Northwest gear is a direct replacement. I replaced a gear in a connie im working on and it runs fine. There is a photo how to on changing the gear on LSC. I believe its in the Connie Thread.

Shayster,

I just replaced the gear on my Connie. Called B-mann was told they did not have brass gear in stock. I got a delron gear from NWSL. Check on Large Scale Central, there is a thread in the modeling forum, look for a post by Mic he has a link on how to replace the gear with the part number you need. Hope this helps

What about a Jsckson Sharp car with a duckbill roof?? This would give a product that would be different from what is curently on the market but would work along with it, give the buyers a choice resulting in more sales.

Check the book Narrow Gauge Varnish, I belive the Drango & Silverton rebuilt a few cars all with Duckbill roofs.
Maybe a car like the Denver would work with the 4-4-0 & 2-6-0. Just another idea to think about.

Hi Mr Bachmann, & Yardmaster,

Ok its the 29th the NMRA convention is started, so what steam engine in 120.3 is everyone going to be very very happy with?? This is what I was told at the last ECLSTS when I asked about about anything new in large scale.

  Thanks,

Loco Bill,

Check out Steve Sitel's post on his above ground RR His support system is all above ground, and the top is sort of like the port oxford rr. I think he had a thread on MLS and LSC.

Accucraft has the measurements on ther wesite L 27 1/2 inches, H 7 3/8 inches W 5 inches, Weight 6 lb. They are big cars, most likely need 8' curves.

Hi Guys'
Thanks for the info, very helpful. I am definatly going battery, I have 200ft of lagas code 215 alluminum track, and I just got a Kobota TLB BX for my birthday. So one of these days I will get trains running.
I will send an order out for some battery boxes and some batteries shortly.

  Thanks again, Chuck

Hi Bill, Rodney,
I'm going battery power and was told before to use sub c batteries for the K27 to get decent run time. Has anyone tried the smaller packs with a K?? If So how long of a run time did you get??

  Thanks Chuck

Hi Jim,

I have one of b-mans first train sets. It has brown colored ties on the track, so yes Bachman made brown ties at one time. Bachman never made largescale brass track.

Hi Mr Bachman,

The Thomas roundhouse sounds like what he was posting about. Must have got the scale wrong.

   Thanks, Chuck

K,

I saw it on MLS in Jerry McColgan's thread Train shed or Tunnel, it was posted by blueregal, the thread is in the trestles & bridges forum.  I looked on Caboose's site but couldnot find it . The regal said it was to be out by November.

Dear Mr Bachman,

Caboose hobies are advertising a five stall roundhouse and turntable in large scale. Do you have any pictures,?? and when will this be in the shops??

  Thanks,  Chuck
