First of all this is my first post. Hi.     Does anyone know if  a chip can be removed or an kind of alteration can be done to an ALCO RS3 Bachmann EZ AP loco . I want to alter it to DC only! Always and forever. Not satisfied with the EZ AP. All the restarting and unplugging reminds me of my last power outage on my R.R. Which turned out only be track nails touching rails.I found the problem only after I had taken up a lot of track,and accidentally dropped my beautiful ALCO RS 3 (Atlas) to the ground. I still looking to get it fixed.By the way I work in HO scale Any and all help would be appreciated on either matter.                Happy Holidays!      Hope we can all keep it between the rails .                     Chris
