Hello all, I just received This older (early 90s I believe) Williams Alco.  Just unpacked it and placed it on the track.  The light works so it is getting juice.  But no motion at all.  No sound from either of the two motors.  I have the MTH large transformer and it has the direction button but no joy.  I have other Bachman diesel locomotives and am familiar with them running.  This one appears DOA.

There is a little switch on the bottom of the loco and negative result in either position.

I did take the shell off to be sure there wasn't a loose or disconnected wire.  Nope.  All appears good.

I don't want to get into repairs and replacement on this New To Me unit.  Unless it is an easy fix or diagnostic, I'd just as soon return it.  It is a shame as I've been looking for this Erie Lackawanna set  (I purchased the B unit too) for a long time.

Any help?  Steve
