I got it all hooked up and working. 

Im hooking up a RCS Rx65b to the Forney plug and play.  Im using the the provided board to wire an aftermarket rc.  I got as far as getting the engine to run forward and reverse but I can not get the front lights to work.  I have the white wire from the bachmann board going to the correct wire on the Rx65B but Im not sure what other wire I need to finish the connection?  Is the Bachmann board front light wire + or-.  If I want to hook the cab light what wire should I use. It will rust fast but it actually looks good once rusted.  I have had a section outside for over a year now.  So far it has held up very well.  Sort of an experiment not that I plan on ever using it outdoors. 

Norm you could always take the current Indie and modify it with the stack etc....
I just got the new Indie and I am very happy with it.  Big improvment.

I ended up ordering one of the Bachmann 20 inch.  It is almost identical in size as the HLW.  The biggest difference was Bachmann used smaller trucks and small wheels.  How could that be since the 1:22 stuff has the larger trucks and wheels.  One would think it should be the opposite. LOL

here is a picture of the 1:22 scale Bachmann, left, next to the HLW on right.   HLW is 1:24 but the Bachmann 20 inch seems to be about the same dimensions as the the HLW

Thanks guys.  I was trying to compare it to the HLW boxcar and seems to be very close in size and  the bach is almost half the price.  thanks again

Does anyone have the dimensions of the 1:20 scale 20 inch boxcars.   Based off pictures it looks shorter then the big hauler 1:22 scale cars.  I know you cant always go by pictures.

I would just keep an eye out on the two small screws that hold the gear box to the motor.  Mine came loose and stripped the gears.  You might want to take the screws out and add some lock tite.

I would just re set the gusge.  I did this and have not had a problem.  Another option is to get a new lead truck from Barry's.

I actually had to hold on one wheel while pulling the other wheel out.  Eventually it will come loose.  Then just set it to whatever gauge you want. (I dd not have anything to measure gauge so I just guessed and it worked. I also bought a new lead truck from Barrys.  I have not put it on but I heard his lead trucks work great. 

I fixed my problem.  I widened the front wheels on my lead trucks.  I didnt have anything to measure the gauge but I played with it until it ran without derailing.  I had it running all day yesterday without a single derail.

This is for the Bach Man or any one else that knows how to fix this problem.   I have a Bachmann big hauler from the tweetsie RR set.  The front lead trucks keep coming off the track.  I tried adding weights to the front and back wheels of the front trucks. I still had problems.  The track seems even no drastic changes in grade or anything.  Is there anything else I could do to correct the problem???  I heard thisis a common problem.  It seems like they need more weight or stiffer spring.  Does Bachmann plan on fixing this problem.  Thanks

I have the Bachmann 4-6-0 Big Hauler.  I broke the little plastic pieces that are on top of the engine.  The gold one that sits behind the bell.  Not sure what it is called.  Anyway how  can I get a replacement. Thanks
