I know it is wishful thinking, but will Bachmann have any special large scale train sets for Sam's or other big box stores this year?

Stan and All,
I am currently using the mylocosound board with the included spider board to wire it into tender. Chuff, bell, whistle, and standing still steam sounds all work. No headlights, firebox lights nor smoke. Chuff & bell are GREAT, but whistle is not very realistic. Just looking at other possible options.

Are the TSU 4400 boards plug and play for the Bachmann 21 pin arrangement? Photo on the systems web site looks like the pins are all on one side.

I have a QSI Aristo PNP. Do they fit the Bachmann PNP? Obviously, I have not tried it.

The good folks at mylocosound helped. I must hook + and - power to same terminal as motor + and -. Works fine.

I have the mylocosound connected to the spider board for the new Bachmann 4-6-0. With dummy board loco runs fine. With the sound system plugged in, nothing. I am using track power. I have connected motor + and motor - ,  2 speaker wires, and chuff wire according to diagram provided by sound system company on page 3 and another diagram provided shows chuff wire connection. Do I need to connect power + and - in same connection as motor? There is a B+ a Gnd, a R and L wires on the spider board. Please advise.

With the new 4-6-0 currently shipping from dealers, what sound systems are currently on the market that will fit the Bachmann PNP socket? Any suggestions appreciated. Also, any experiences (good or bad) with these PNP sound systems.
