I just bought a 4-8-4 Union Pacific model 53502, I want to add a dcc decoder but when I called Bachmann help desk they told me there was a dcc plug in the tender unit with a hinged door. I am trying to figure out how to get the tender open but I don't want to break anything. There are no instructions on how to add a 8 pin decoder in this locomotive with the paper work shipped with the box. Also there is no hinged door that I can find. I really would like to add a dcc decoder with sound but I can not find a way to open up the tender. The parts diagram shows a dcc connector in the tender but I really don't want to disassemble  without some advice.

The manual recommends a part number 36-520 E-Z Command 5 amp booster, is there any difference between the 36-520 and the Bachmann 44910 5 amp booster the case looks the same for both part numbers.

I have a Bachmann Dynamis 36505 controller and I would like to know if I can connect it to a Bachmann 44910 - E-Z Command 5 Amp Power Booster without causing major system problems? I was thinking of connecting the controller directly to the booster then from the booster to the track.
