I have a DC HO Decapod locomotive. I acquired a DCC tender (K191122) with the WOW Sound decoder board. The locomotive has orange connectors. The tender has white connectors. When I connect the locomotive to the tender and apply power, I get an error message. I don't have much experience with the Decapod so any help would be appreciated.

I want to replace the 4-4-0 "orange" headlight LED with warm white LED.  What is the voltage of the factory installed LED?   In a perfect world, I would like to use a surface mount LED but, that may be a bit beyond my ability with this locomotive.   Thanks, Scott
