I got it fixed. 

My sound value RS-3 will not change light intensity when switching from forward to reverse, stays same intensity both directions. I have set CV8 to a value of 8 again to see if it would change but it did not. Runs perfect otherwise.

I had this problem just last evening. I was reprogramming some CV values and I couldn't get either engine to run. Both are Bachmann Sound Value Alcos, one RS-3 and one S-4.
When I realized neither would take commands of lights whistle or bell, I finally tried and "RE ADDRESSED"  the two engines and walla. Somehow they lost their address? Reprogram an address into it and it should work? Good luck.

I was reprogramming some CV's in my Alco RS-3 and somehow lost the head lights? Everything works great but the headlights won't come on now? Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.
Also does anyone have the CV values/defaults for the RS-3?

I have several GE 70 ton locomotives with DCC on board. love the engines but would like sound in them? Anyone out there produce sound decoders for them?

Another question on sound..... any way of quieting these little monsters? The growl is terrible.
