I have a question concerning this trainset and ALL the other ones for that matter

Do those trains run on DC power or do they need to be powered by AC?

I live in Germany and have the standard rails and normal DC power output trains and lokomotives that run on DC.

I would like to purchase a Bachmann train set and wanted to make sure I can actually use it on my track since I cannot find this specific info ANYWHERE on the websites of the sellers or Bachmann themselves.
