I know the Southern 280 was done in green. Was it also done in black? Even as a limited run/museum special?

Found a solution TomyTec kit TT-05 has wheel sets of the same type, split wheel with plastic separator axle 6mm in size and they fit, will just have to blacken it

that looks like it is for the earlier ones with the long drawbar couplings. looking for a solution for the newer ones with the swinging body mount couplers.

Well I lost a wheelset for One of the new Amfleet cars that use the split axle with plastic insulator connector. Its a stock number 14164 however the part is common to all new amfleet cars. Anyone have a spare wheelset or broken car. Bachmann does not supply parts for this model. Because of the design and mounting style I've yet to find a substitute. It is not compatable with the wheels from the earlier run.
