There is an adapter available to connect the EZtrack directly to to the lifelike track without any modifications.

This thread has offended me and I am sure others who participate in this forum . There sure is a lot of pomposity in some of the comments . I am a railroad modeler who does it for my pleasure . .Because space limitations my whole layout is 18" curves. I have a 4-8-4 and it does not lurch around curves . I have a 2-10-2 and it also does not lurch around curves , also a Challenger that looks great around 18: curves Just as you have insulted me I will insult all you pompous rivet counters who dare set the standard by which you measure the rest of us

Buy. Sound is terrific . The 2-8-0 are particularly good . If you really want impressive sound purchase a Challenger from BLI or a 4-8-4 .

In my opinion you should use EZtrack . The lifelike track can be adapted to the ez track and so can flextrack . You will find the EZtrack easy to install . My whole layout is EZtrack . I have adapted a lot of other track in the form of structures ,such as bridges etc.. No problem

I can't change what is . I would like to have a good night's sleep and a day without pain so that I could put more time into my layout. During the late 40's my family lived very close to a marshalling yard in the north end of Winnipeg . I could lie in my bed and listen to switchers moving the cars around . It was all steam in those days and there was not a better sound.. as a result I model mostly steam .

My layout is approx. 10' x 10' with a pop-up in the middle I have a main line and 3 feeder lines , 1 to a typical prairie town , 1 to a small mining area and one to a yard. It is all EZ track. I run almost all steam.

The CN mainline runs through Edmonton. Quite often a loaded train that runs through is pulled by 4 engines . The train is headed to the western coastline and Vancouver. To get through the mountains it needs four locos.

The No -Nails  has good holding power until it dries. You have 30 min working time . I use little dobs to hold small things in place. My back ground panels are all held it into place with No-Nails.

I find that No-Nails covers just about any gluing job I need to cover.

I don't think an American measure is as strong as a Canadian measure so we only use 1 oz.
