Oh, I almost forgot to mention, great work on Paxton, now that he's complete. Just wondering, was the face hard to remove from the Trackmaster Paxton? (Given that it is in a hollow area) Keep up the good work, as it always tends to be great.

Not much of a point though, considering he owns Hornby's model of Dart already. Maybe just a different, more accurate looking chassis.

No, they only said that it should have been put in the show. The basis would work well for the tanker models

Thomas & Friends / Re: Favorite characters...

Speaking of the Thomas and Friends website, there have been some good modifications to the website. Duck is back on it, but not BoCo, Stepney is no longer being called a Nerrow Gauge engine, and Merrick and Winston have been added on.

Honestly for me, in terms of locomotives, I'll just stick to pre-HiT characters, which are Oliver, BoCo, Daisy, and Stepney.
Rolling Stock, I might just go for Bachmann Branchline's stock, but if I had to, it would be a plant truck like in Henry's Forest, and the Breakdown Train. (Cranes, flatbeds, Works Unit Coach)

Well, for cases like me, where Model Railway stores are nowhere in sight, I have to order offline, and 20$ for a highly detailed van, compared to a Troublesome Truck for 26$, I'm fine with that. Besides, I can just order the separate faces from the parts section of this site. (No offense to you, Bachmann)

Thomas & Friends / Re: Season 16 Boost or Bust?

My goodness, that new voice for Charlie has just made the first US episode of Season 16 for me a bust. It honestly sounds even worse than previously. If they just kept the UK voices, but put in the US narrator, then I would approve of it.

Looking fine by me. I was almost thinking that the incline track was somehow floating, but then I finally saw the mesh used to become a hill.

Great job on the W.I.P. coaches, Jack. I can't wait to see the finished products!

As for my modelling, I've managed to find a few reference shots for my RWS Ffarquhar station layout. and I've already started setting up a track plan. As for rolling stock, I think I will start with a RWS Thomas (Post Thomas Comes to Breakfast) by literally creating a new front for Thomas, while keeping the same hooks, lamp irons, and buffers. thankfully, the footplate is a separate piece, so while repainting it black, I won't worry about getting any on the main body shell.

Considering how far Arthur has become since you started the model, it looks great! If I was to model though, I would always have a reference shot with me. I don't really think you did, considering the footplate at first. (No offense) Great job though.

I'm planning on starting a layout of Ffarquhar Station from the Railway Series soon, but I need some help. I need some good reference shots of Ffarquhar, but I can't seem to find any.

That is a good face, Caleb. I already gave my critique though on the video. As for the Arthur models from both Stepney and Churchill, yours is going fine Churchill, despite the few sections of footplate to be added at the front, and as for Stepney, your welcome for the advice, and I can see it still needs a slight more bit of work, particularly smoothing out the footplate where it was edited.

Hang on, doesn't the Hornby Duck share chassis with Thomas and Diesel? If so, then if the wheels are spaced properly on the Hornby Duck, then it's Thomas that has inaccurate wheel spacing.

No, because if you look closely at the Television Series model of Duck, the wheels are put closer together at the front, and further away at the back. Something that is inaccurate on the Hornby model.

That is an excellent model, Stepney. Though, it still needs some minor adjustments, such as straightening the foot plate to a sort of 90 degree angle where it rises, and adding a hosepipe at the front. Other than that, for such a quick project, you did a great job.
