Definitely a winner!  I saw them up close and personal at the York Meet.  Now I just have to patiently wait for the Geep to appear in Alaska RR or U.S. Army livery, or preferably both.

I think a whole lot of us would like to see a line of switches.  No question about that.

However, SuperStreets wyes were already made, and they should still be available if you shop around a bit.  I have several of the earlier SuperStreets wyes and they perform very well.

The Williams by Bachmann 80-watt transformer will work just fine, as will an MTH Z-1000.  For larger layouts, you'll likely want one of the larger power sources provided by Lionel, MTH, and MRC.

Well, if they haven't reached dealers yet, they are awfully close!  I received two last week for product reviews for the magazine (O Gauge Railroading).  One is #28058, 0-4-0 (DCC Sound), Painted, Unlettered, Black w/Vertical Cab Panel.  The other is #28201, 0-4-2 (DCC Sound), Painted, Unlettered, Maroon.

Both are home with me now, and once I finish trackwork on the new (and small) On30 layout I'm building, I'll get busy "playing" with them. 

I use MTH Z1000 transformers to run all of my O gauge trains (on two separate layouts), including a number of Williams by Bachmann locomotives.  Works just fine for me.

My wish:  A GEEP in U.S. Army livery.  No new tooling required; just new paint and graphics on an existing GP model.

I haven't used GarGraves switches, but have had no problems operating Williams locomotives on GarGraves or any other O gauge track.

About the only "complaints" I've heard so far (and those were based on the pre-production model seen at the York Meet) relate to what some view as an oversize tender and the oversize rods on the locomotive.  I'll just have to see one up close and personal when they come out, and I'm sure we'll want to do an in-depth product review for the magazine.

That new 4-6-0 coming from Williams by Bachmann (as pictured on our O Gauge Railroading forum in the Weekend Photo Fun thread) sure looks sharp!  I can imagine several of them finding a home on my layout in the future.

The photos were taken at the York Train Meet, and I imagine they are of a pre-production prototype.  I'm confident the Bach-Man will provide more information in the near future.

Large Scale trains in 1:20.3, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:29, and 1:32 scales  (there is no such thing as Williams Large Scale, and never has been) all operate on a 45mm track gauge.

Williams O gauge trains operate on three-rail O gauge track.

Since I model the Alaska Railroad, I've had to wait some time for another Williams and/or Williams by Bachmann power unit in my favorite livery (already have the GP38-2).  Today I received my Alaska SD-90 and I'm pleased to report that it is all that I expected it to be.  Looks great, and it is a smooth and quiet runner.  Everything worked well, right out of the box, and that has been the case for all the Williams locomotives I have ever purchased.  A very nice locomotive in every respect, and a nice addition to my ever-growing Alaska RR roster.

I dearly love electrics, but I'll have to pass on a GG1 in Alaska RR livery.
