Well I guess that sound will be no option then. I guess I have to see if it can be done when I get a set here in Germany.
There are some small decoders available and if they still are to large the decoder has to go in the engine dummy...

is it possible to equip the McKinley Explorer StarterSet Train (EMD F9) with a DCC Decoder? If yes, which one do you recommend?
Do you also have any recommendations for DCC + sound?
