Again, many thanks. That is exactly what I was looking for.

I found the comprehensive DVD video posted on YouTube but I could not download it.  To complete my collection of information it would be nice if I had a way to download that video.  Any ideas?

I use YTD Video Downloader. They have a free version.

You put this link under Large. I guess you wanted to point out that there is nothing new for Large scale for 2019. >:(

So you're not an Eggliner fan I take it?
I have several Eggliners. I have put in R/C and other things in them.
The announcement is entitled "Bachmann Trains New Releases 2019".
I don't consider a repaint of existing products a real new release.
When you look at the Bachmann line and all the wonderful large scale products they have,
I would have hoped they could have done a little better than an Eggliner repaint.

This seems to be a popular problem. There are a lot of people 3D printing parts.
I don't know why one of them hasn't picked up on this.
Maybe just because nobody has asked.

Hope someone can come to my rescue here! I have a Bachmann 4-6-2 light Pacific DCC w/ sound NYC 4552. One of my helpers? decided to try and repair the harness and in the process tore all the wires from the connector. This is a fairly new loco, so is there a way to get the pinout of the connector from the factory or am I going to have to try to  read all the connections coming from the loco? If that is the case, what should the motor read in ohms and how can I distinguish the + and common of the light. Also, is there 1 contact that is not used? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Also, is pin1 on the left or right?

Squirls b crazy

I am not familiar with this loco. I don't know if the sound board is in the tender or the loco.
The following two references may be of help if you can get to the sound pcb.
They identify all the wires. I don't know which board your loco has. That should be easy to identify.

This should give you the info you need.

Thanks Loco Bill,

After its test run I already do love it, but I think I had better grease and oil it before I use it. I already had the parts diagrams, but Bachmann must have put a block on printing them because my printer wouldn't and still won't. So I photographed them! However I need INstructions on disassembly & reassembly otherwise I end up with DEstructions! I need step by step guides so I do it all in the correct, safe order.

I can build a Gatling Gun but things electrical and electronic escape me at times.

Pete.

PS Re your postscript, I always thought the quote was: "There are no such things as stupid questions, only stupid answers." Same idea.

Those are just normal PDF files. I just printed them.
It must be something on your end. Can you print any other PDF files?

On30 / Re: Neat Industrial Line

I think if you look closely you will see that the cars were left on a "hump" in the track. They had a brake or something stopping them from rolling until the engine was on the siding . Then they were released and off they went down the track and passed the engine. It is easier to see the high place in the track when the train is leaving.

I have a Bachmann Ohio River & Western Passenger Train Set on30.  The steam engine is a 2-6-0.  The train set is not sold anymore and cannot be set up for DCC and sound.  Do you sell an engine of this sort that is DCC and has sound and possibly smoke?

Why do you say that it cannot be set up for DCC and sound?
You should be able to do it, bu8t it will take more work if it is not DCC ready.

On30 / Re: Max Voltage
April 30, 2018, 10:09:59 PM
I tried a 14.8V battery today and it seemed to work OK.
I don't think my Revolution DCC receiver/booster really likes 11.1 V.
I am more concerned about equipment that may use the DCC track
output directly for lighting and other things and not using the decoder.
I think all will be OK.

On30 / Max Voltage
April 20, 2018, 09:54:41 AM
What would be the maximum DC/DCC power supply voltage for On30?
I would like to use L-Ion battery power for my DCC. I could use 11.1volt
battery, but I think that is a little low!? 14.8volt battery would be better,
but I afraid the charged value would be too high.? NiCAD or NiMH could
provide 12volts which would be great, but the size would be prohibitive.

On30 / 2-6-0 Mogul
April 13, 2018, 02:33:07 PM
I have a Bachmann 2-6-0 Mogul that I would like to get apart to get to the motor and track connections.
I suspect the track connections are connected directly to the motor. I would like to bring the connections
out to the tender and install a DCC decoder. I might have to deal with the headlight also.
