YOU DONT EASILY ON THE 1 SIDE.  IF YOU,LL NOTICE THE FACTORY INSTALLED COUPLER IS SPOT WELDED ON. IF YOU TRY TO REMOVE IT, IT WILL RUIN THE TRACK. IF YOU HAVE TO REMOVE IT JUST TURN THAT PIECE OVER AND TAKE YOUR DREMELL AND CUT THOUGH THE WELD AND IT WILL COME OFF..

when i get to installing the cross for my figure 8 bachmann track it overloads my controller. unplug it and i have a steady 17+volts. plug it in again and in get boverlooad. if i follow the track it appears to end up with changed polarity due to the pos side ending up mateing up with the negative rail.  any ideas what i should do.  thanks

just getting back in to ho fun  question is do i want to start with the steel track or the nickle silver  .  thanks for your kelp
