HO / Re: "Sound Value" Question
January 05, 2015, 12:27:42 PM
What I was referring to was to let DP query the locomotive while on the programming track. It comes back and tells me that is sees a Bachmann locomotive of indeterminant  type. It then lists choices, and the only steam loco is a 4-6-0. I somehow don't think that that would be an appropriate sound for a Lima 2-8-4..... Could it be that DP has not yet been upgraded to include this decoder, or, has Bachmann not yet informed DP of the details of this decoder, OR, is the decoder sufficiently generic that is does not make a difference what it is installed in???

HO / "Sound Value" Question
January 04, 2015, 08:52:04 PM
Finally got my new "sound value" C&O 2-8-4 down to the basement. It had spent many weeks traveling around the country via USPS and UPS. While on the program track, Decoder Pro only recognizes it as being a Bachmann product, it does not recognize it as being a Berkshire. Does The "Bachmann" have any explanation?

Thanks, Dan

HO / Diagram Section on Web Site is messed Up...
November 09, 2014, 01:45:18 PM
While trying to view the parts drawings for the new C&O berkshire (#52402), I get an error message trying to get to the page for the chassis... All I want to do is verify that the new version (52402) has the correct pilot... Could someone at BAchmann please look at this???

Thanks...

HO / C&O 2-6-6-6 by Rivarossi

I realize that this is the Bachmann board, bur Riv doesn't have one that I can find. The latest version supposedly has sound. Has anyone received theirs yet? Does it, in fact have sound? The documentation included in the box is a joke. Nearly non existant.
Way to go Bachmann with the documentation in the sound equipped steam engines.

HO / Re: RF-16's

I agree. Mine run fine. The distance between the units make them look like Lionel toy trains. So far I have not been able to get an answer to the question: What is the CORRECT distance between coupled units. This includes the gurus at Model Railroader. Anybody here have an answer?
