Great job Sparks! ;)  I can't wait to see more photos soon!
Thanks. We (me and the layout owner) soon discovered the layouts tracks were dirty, so we'd rub the tracks to get dirt off sometimes. I only run the layout on the public weekends, which is every second and fourth Saturday of the Month. Most of the recent photos I have are blurry, so I'm going to retake them next time. They also have a Garden Railway, live steam, N scale, and Lionel engines. Their Thomas doesn't do as much as my Bachmann does (theirs just does a loop, while I like to stop him sometimes just for the kids to see him, though it does break BR Rule 55. ;)) My hopes are by the end of the Month, my Hornby Caledonian 0-4-0ST will come in, and I'll bring it along. I mentioned him before, and a Mother thought it was a Thomas character! I had to explain to her the "British" engines to her, which she seemed unaware of, bless her heart. :P

Not necessarily my layout, but I do run it sometimes at the Model Train club, usually running their James/wagons included in set, and my Thomas/Hornby Rolling Stock/Annie Clarabel/Bachmann Wagons. The kids go nuts over them both.

Here in this thread you can post your original characters for thomas & friends as long as they are in 00/HO scale & they have buffers to me,My characters:
Amy the purple engine(In production)
Becky the working engine(In production)

I can start work on them when I have the engines so I could scrape off parts.
Why make restrictions to character designs?

Hey Chaz I have a question.  This topic may not be a bad idea.  If someone gets something new from the Bachmann Thomas & Friends they can say it here.  Hows that sound?
Or the "I've got a new addition to my layout!" thread overall. :P

You do realize Topkazfatt is an adult, and even a parent? Of course he has skills. :P

Has anyone wondered what The Big City Engine would look like if he was in the T.V. series?  Well I have!  My Bachmann Henry broke a while ago so i'm salvaging his body and i'm also using Archibald's chassis for the project (since Henry's chassis is what broke)!  I'm not sure if I want to do this or not though, i'm asking all of you, would you like me to do this project?  Also, it's fine with me for any of you to ask me to do this or not to do this, i'm good for it!
NO!!!!!!!!!!!! >:(
...Dude. Whats your problem?

I say go for it. The Big City Engine/Foreign Engine was I believe a Patriot Class.

Thomas & Friends / ERTL/TOMY/etc. Models into HO/N
December 01, 2007, 11:15:03 AM
I've seen alot of models put into HO scale from ERTL. But I'm wondering, is N Scale Possible and fits? I've seen Topkazfatt do Japanese Die Cast models, but being in America, I'd like to have them but can't. Does anyone know if ERTL's models would work well in N scale? Or get the Japanese models online? Ebay isn't helping. :\

You can also discuss taking other ERTL and TOMY and other models into HO scale and such. :P

General Discussion / Engines in Scrap Yards
November 19, 2007, 09:50:56 PM
Has anyone ever been to an engine scrap yard, and what is it like? I've always been curious. Especially about finding an old steamer, and managing to bring it back to life. Is there some sort of procedure into getting the locomotive? I know that it could take alot of work to fix an old steamer. ;)

Rather than making a topic for every one you make or find, post them here.  ;)

Thomas & Friends / Re: Thomas spotted in Virginia
November 15, 2007, 05:23:51 PM
I think theres going to be a Day out with Thomas day in Virginia. My Mom is watching a dog, the owner has moved to Virginia for now. She says she might go when the event is going on. I may be older, but I've always been a Thomas fan.  :P
