Thomas & Friends / Re: Bachmann 'Arry and Bert thread

It also makes me wonder if they'll have the classic series faces (they were the small rectangular shaped ones) or the CGI style faces (where their faces were close to Diesel's size....). Idk, I mean there was a significant difference when they transitioned from Season 12 to Season 14 and people seemed to have noticed that their faces became a tad bigger, so that's something I'm curious on...

Highly doubt it.... Although they could at least make the snowplough separate like they did with the Large Scale models...

There's always next year, but for now, we'll have to wait until Duck arrives in stores (and Arry & Bert to show up later this year) to make any little wish we want from Bachmann.

Ehh a guy like me can wait another year to see whether or not Oliver and/or Toad will be announced in the very future! Besides, we have Duck to grovel over XD

Anyway, I'm pleased we got more diesels being made in the range!! Even though Bachmann can just slap a new coat of paint on Diesel's base model, it makes me excited to see their promo pics eventually... :)

If anyone is willing to look over the price tag for the new Thomas, then I suppose so :P

I knew Arry and Bert were gonna be the next characters to be released. To be honest, I'm content with them (since we have another pair of twins in the range and more diesels starting to grow in the range, assuming if BoCo and/or Daisy are also planned in the future years...). Ehh, I can wait for Oliver and Toad to show up in the future as well, as long as the focus for the rail characters are only on Seasons 2-7 characters, then that'll be fine by me. :)

That would make anyone's hatred for Monday a bit more enjoyable to say the least XD

Besides, if anything, the content of the trailer is interesting like seeing the Troublesome Trucks doing their thing, Stephen's quote 'Hehe no! I may be old, but I'm not THAT old', and Millie as a first private female narrow gauge engine, this'll be interesting to say the least! We should just wait until September to draw any sort of conclusions about this special.

I wonder why they only have the UK trailer first and not the US trailer as well... Maybe it'll be released at a later date... Who knows...?

First impression of the movie: very interesting indeed. The fact they have an Earl of Sodor (Sir Robert Norramby) with his private engine, who's narrow gauge, plus an old friend that was in the same boat as Hiro (if you get my meaning) tells me this would be something to look forward to. :P

Hello, I'm Den. Uhh what I mean to say is--
What Den means to say is that he's the boss in charge, I'm Dart.

So basically (from what we see based on that info), Stephan will be the next 'Scrapped Hiro of the CGI series,' but with his own coaches as well...?Interesting.... I'm warming up to Andrew Brenner already!! :P

I'm hoping Edward or Toby gets made for the LS Range (to me at least since Edward has a similar base to James, albeit with a bit of modifications). If Toby gets made, Henrietta is definitely a must to be release alongside him.

Afterwards, I hope they'll make a diesel character eventually (considering the only ones released in HO scale are Diesel, Mavis, and Salty so far). If they do consider it, then they'll probably start with Diesel since he already has a CGI face for the HO range, which would only require a bump up in size.

Admittedly, I agree on the brake van needing a little revision. After all, they did revise the Oil tanker, Mail van, Cream tanker, Raspberry tanker, etc., then the Brake van will definitely be one of them.

I hope they make another troublesome truck that is a closed van (heck maybe even a tanker van seen in Toad Stands By), at least to sort of make up the somewhat 'meh' feeling from troublesome truck #3. I also hope that they re-release the RF wagons and well wagons (those small and big, respectively, flatbeds seen in the majority of the CGI series).

Well, let's hope that no competition comes between those two streamliners vs Spencer and Gordon perhaps (just saying) :P
