As I am limited on space when it comes to expanding my layout, I have tried something new (;

the van is 12£, 10£ for the van itself and 2£ for VAT. minus the VAT, 2£, and add the 3-5 day shipping, 3£, and it will add up to 13£. 13£ is like $20/21. so in a way that's cheaper than getting an american freight car

  Woah woah woah! 20 Dollars is a lot for a van! About 80% of US Rolling Stock is under 20 dollars. I bet! In stores, how often do you see one van for more than 20 dollars! Just saying
Look in the product info on the just the Bachmann site and you'll find no piece of US rolling stock under $19.50  ::)

Referring back to your Jolly model, I was watching Toy Story 3 today with my younger cousins, and the loco in the movie did have cylinder rods. I just thought I'd mention that :)

Thomas & Friends / Re: Season 16 Boost or Bust?

I really enjoyed season 16 compared to seasons 11-15. It reminded me of season 8, which I thoroughly enjoyed because it still resembled some nostalgia of the original series. Honestly, it wasn't the best, but it was still much better compared to all the other CGI seasons.

Ah, much better :) Great job as usual!

But in other illustrations, Henry is depicted as a 4-6-0. Not all of the RWS illustrators were very consistent in their illustrations :P

Green Arrow is a V2, while Gordon is an "A0." They're two different classes of locomotives, but with some modifications, you could probably make a convincing Green Arrow.

I (well, I give my mom a list and she takes care of it :P) have been using Model Railway Imports lately, and my mom calls and orders over the telephone. I'm pretty sure she uses a credit card to pay, but I'm not sure whether or not you can use cash with over-the-phone orders. Very friendly service, I should add. I emailed the owners about special ordering a Horny model not listed on the site, and when my mom called and asked about it he instantly asked if Christian (me) was her son! :P Really nice man, I highly recommend MRI if you're an American looking for British stock :)

No no, you explained it fine! The motor I tried using didn't work. The groves on the motor and the teeth on the turntable gear weren't in sync :P

I attempted this and failed...the motor gets jammed in the gear of the turntable  :-\
This wasn't because of that comment I posted was it?  :-[

That's right, I forgot about the Great Bear. So, he's basically the eldest of all Gresley's pacifics :P
