Okay, make me drag out my pics again  ;)

My C-16's with 3 Big Hauler cars in the consist (a perfect match in my opinion and the same size as Delton/AristoClassic, LGB, and USAT 1:24 cars) -

Brian,
Great job! It was also nice to finally meet you at the show. How did you place in the contest?  The Dunkirk looks great in person

Thanks Paul. I'll just say the judges were in a more cluttered and dirty mood.

Here are a few daylight pics of my mining diorama I brought up to ECLSTS.
Its a dual gauge 1/24 scale with a 42 inch gauge ore train (featuring my Bachmann bashed Dunkirk and modified ore cars) and a 15 inch mine tram. The mine tram ran in and out of the tunnel automatically on a 30 second cycle.

The Delton knuckle couplers should mate up with the Bachmann ones pretty well.

Aristo ball bearing wheel sets are similar to the LGBs. They have tabs that are easy to solder to. I have them on many of my passenger cars. I'm cheap though and only use 1 BB axle per car and link the cars together with JST connectors. No flicker at all with that set up.

They still make the 0-4-0 Porter in side tank and saddle tank versions. I have a side tank waiting to be upscaled and bashed to 7/8's scale. I have another drive train from one that I'm currently using in another bash. They have a decent drive train on them.

I just got a couple of the Iron Penguin reversers. One one amp for a Gn15 set up (which I hope to have up and running for ECLSTS) and a 5 amp for G trolleys. They look nice and came fast. Can't beat the price for $30 each.

The MyLocoSound cards are an economical choice and made in Australia (should save on shipping). I like that they are adjustable.

Maxx did not say which.

Delton freight cars are now made as the AristoClassic cars.

Delton passenger cars are now made by Hartland LW.

The Delton/AC, Bachmann, LGB and older (1:24) USA Train cars are nearly identical in size.

Some consists with all of the above -

There is a press release put out by Jack Lynch -

Bachmann's Thomas & Friends™ Line
Expands into Large Scale

Philadelphia, PA . . . Model railroad manufacturer Bachmann Trains is pleased to announce a licensing agreement with HIT Entertainment through which Bachmann is granted rights to Large Scale Thomas & Friends™ products in the United States and Canada. Bachmann first introduced HO scale Thomas & Friends™ products in 2002, and over the years has worked closely with HIT Entertainment to create train sets and separate-sale offerings that deliver railroading adventures to children of all ages.
Bachmann's expansion into Large Scale Thomas & Friends™ is a natural progression in this relationship. New product announcements for Bachmann's Large Scale Thomas & Friends™ offerings will be made at Toy Fair '09 in New York (The Javits Center, Booth 355, February 15-18, 2009).

I guess they don't feel the need to share this with us peons.  ;)
