There been any updates as too when the Narrow Gauge coaches are coming out? Heard they're supposed to be in this month.

You also planning to model 1880s which Skarloey is somewhat scratchbuilt?

The Ivo Hugh locomotive looks really good but it didn't bother me about the missing trailing truck since the prototype probably didn't have one.

You're work is superb.
Uh, I mean Skarloey was basically identical to how he was by 1866 well into the 1900s, unlike Talyllyn, Skarloey got a full cab when he got his trailing set.

And Ivo Hugh is pretty much identical to his basis Tom Rolt, which does have a trailing wheelset.

Completed this some months ago. Bought a spare Skarloey bodyshell and running board and converted both to be in 1864 condition. It shares the same chassis as my normal modern-ish day RWS Skarloey, which has been upgraded with the NP kit cylinders, slidebars and motion. The body was stripped of paint, hand the handrail outline sanded down and smoothed, the smokebox handrail mold filed down and replaced with a proper handrail and knobs. The plate in the cab was grinded down and fitted with a 3D printed backhead. Skarloey was completely repainted and relined as can be seen.
Would post the photos direct to the thread but the forum is stupid and won't accept any of the photos cause despite being shrink well below the limit, they're apparently still too big.

Aye. Only time any tooling is reused is in the Standard Gauge line, with about 90% of the rolling stock coming from old Mainline toolings. The open trucks, not the slate trucks btw, and I believe the vans from the NG range are Peco toolings, not really old, just reused and marked up cause of the license.

I mean, it's not really surprising? One was made cause Rosie is heavily stylized and the other is a proper scale model? Pretty Bachmann US make a US spec S100 and Rivarossi make a Euro-spec one, both of those in HO

I mean, it's hardly an update. Those brass wheels are common on pretty much all model prototypes from pretty much every company.

Yes, that's her basis, The USATC S100. The model you mentioned is the proper OO model of the S100 Bachmann makes as a limited model and a Model-Rail exclusive. Pretty much nothing is shared between the 2, other than the same company makes them, but even then they were made by 2 separate divisions of the company. Rosie is more of a stylized depiction of a USA tank, very far from the actual proportions, dimensions etc.

Once the N Scale models get released, people will be doing size comparisons between the Bachmann N Scale Thomas models, and the Tomix models.
Probably to see what N scale they've actually scaled them to. The Tomix stuff is quite overscaled compared to normal UK N scale. Given what's been shown, it looks like Bachmann have smartly scaled them to the UK's N scale, especially given the range is due to release about the same time in the UK as the US.

It appears they've only just add them to the listings. They've yet to add any parts for either Rheneas or Rusty yet.

I gotta be honest, Stepney is very unlikely. Daisy was highly requested AND is actually in the show still, Hell shes been a prominent character.

I like the coaches the way they are. They're too beautiful to add a face on them.

Yes I know its model series accurate but sometimes you want something without a face.
I mean, Cough, RWS, Cough. :P

THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL!!!! I love that the bottom of the red carriage body curves inward like they're supposed to. That didn't get done with Annie and Clarabel, or the Red Branchlike Coaches. It is nice that the Red Carriages are basically the real world version of those coaches, thus anyone can use them. A new coat of paint and they'll be Model Series perfect!!!
That's because they aren't supposed to curve off, the Red coaches are based on Talyllyn Coach 1-2, which has the slight curves

Honestly I would buy a bunch the blue coaches and make faces for them so they can a be Agnes,Ruth,Lucy and Jemima and/or if they make brake vans I would make it Beatrice.
Eh, only one of the 5 was Coach 4, which is what the blue coach is

At most, I expect maybe a Narrow Gauge Brake van, maybe 2 variants but nothing more from the NG range in 2020
