Thank you to RW James for showing me the accurate colour needed for the paint job!
A quick caveat - I'm not saying that this is the color Bachmann uses (which you would need for touch ups). But this would be the proper color if you wanted to paint Henry the color he should be. He was a LNER engine before he came to Sodor.

You probably won't want to get this - but here it is:
Railmatch LNER Darlington Apple Green (2621)
Buy it at http://www.anticsonline.co.uk/1820_1.html

Good rule to follow: Always - ALWAYS - look for screws before you start prying things apart.

Yes, and they had larger scale models for the closeups of details like cab interiors and fireboxes.

UncBob: I checked out your website - nice layout! I like the idea of a preservation railroad - gives you the excuse to run just about anything you want - including a Day Out With Thomas - What a great idea!

It would be nice to see a station building to go with the Knapford platforms.

Another thought: Now that they have the glass canopies for Knapford, they could do the same thing the TV show did, use them for Tidmouth station.

Sorry. I don't. But I just got a new camera that is 1080p HD so I may redo the video.   ;)
Looking forward to it. You do nice work.

Too bad about her performance - but she is a beauty. You might consider adding some weight in whatever voids you can find. I did that with James and greatly improved performance.

That can be fixed by a splash of paint.  :)  Like I have done.

really nice work - do you have some in-focus stills with explanations to go with it? It would be very helpful.

...maybe a signal box or a famous station
I agree. Many of the structures marketed in the Thomas range, included the signal box are just repackaging from their American range.

Yes, but I'd rather have the products made without needs of modification. Not to mention that things tend to be overpriced in a different country.
I understand - but First: I was referring to Bachmann's ability to easily make the modification. That's what they've done with the wagons. Second: There is a part of this hobby you might enjoy exploring - actually building something.

Bachmann has a couple of GWR 20 ton brake vans (aka toads) in the British range, and though Toad is only 16 tons they could probably be easily converted with the addition of a face.

If you're interested, the 6 ton wagon is still available at some stores - for instance:
